George gained three best actor award nominations for his portrayal of Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel (Southwark Playhouse, 2015). In January 2017, he was featured by Mark Shenton in his ‘The Best Leading Men in UK Musical Theatre’ list (The Stage).
